What are the Advancing Innovation Awards?
Advancing Women in Nashville (AWIN) seeks to recognize member organizations who are advancing innovative changes that improve the workplace and/or broader community and develop women as business leaders. In recognizing our members' positive changes, AWIN seeks to share those best practices with others and thereby widen the scope of impact and progress.
Don't miss the chance to enter your company!
Each AWIN member organization is invited to submit one nomination of an initiative active within the past three years (Jan. 1, 2022 – Dec. 31, 2024). Submissions will be judged by independent panel based on evidence of positive impact through innovative strategies, leadership, and action.
Nominations are due by COB June 27, 2025. The judging panel will consider initiatives from AWIN members focused on one of the following areas:
- Advancing Change – Innovation to improve health, equity, diversity, and collaboration within the workplace.
- Advancing Community – Innovation in the non-profit community related to the support of women and families.
- Advancing Leaders – Innovation in the development of women leaders.

Honorees will be announced at the Advancing Innovation Awards luncheon on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at City Winery. Tickets will be available for purchase later this summer. Stay tuned for more details!
