What are the Advancing Innovation Awards?
Advancing Women in Nashville (AWIN) seeks to recognize member organizations who are advancing innovative changes that improve the workplace and/or broader community and develop women as business leaders. In recognizing our members' positive changes, AWIN seeks to share those best practices with others and thereby widen the scope of impact and progress.

2025 Winning Initiatives
About the Nominees
Each AWIN member organization was invited to submit one nomination of an initiative active within the past three years focused on one of the following areas:
- Advancing Change – Innovation to improve health, equity, diversity, and collaboration within the workplace.
- Advancing Community – Innovation in the non-profit community related to the support of women and families.
- Advancing Leaders – Innovation in the development of women leaders.
Submissions were scored by an independent panel of AWIN's Advisory Board based on evidence of positive impact through innovative strategies, leadership, and action.
