Both sessions will take place at the Tennessee Bankers Association, each focused on the theme of connecting to the community. Whether you're looking to deepen your community involvement or step into non-profit board leadership, choose the session that best fits your goals. Registration for each program is first-come, first-served.

Option 2: Board-Ready: Navigating the Path to Non-Profit Board Leadership
About this Session

Join this small group session designed to demystify the journey to board service and equip you with tangible steps to take your seat at the table. This program will feature a candid panel of Nashville leaders with decades of experience leading boards and founding non-profits. After the panel, attendees will break out into small group conversations focused on key areas of board service: Health and Human Services, Education and Professional Organizations, and Arts/Culture. You will walk away with practical next steps, new connections, and the tools to confidently pursue board leadership. 

Panelists will include:

  • Amanda Weeks-Geveden (Moderator), Senior Vice President, Senior Wealth Advisor, 1834, a division of Old National Bank 
  • Mekesha Montgomery, Labor & Employment Practice Group Leader, Frost Brown Todd
