AWIN is a group of major middle Tennessee employers who invest in supporting their women leaders through membership and active engagement in our mission.
We maintain a roster of about 40 member organizations annually and have members representing a wide variety of industries, including banking/finance, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, professional services, technology, and more. We typically have only a select few spots available for new members. If you are interested in exploring whether your organization is a fit, please contact us.

Advancing Women in Nashville
July 18
Serving in the summertime! In line with our mission to support community organizations who support women and families, AWIN joined our July community partner, Nashville Rescue Mission, at their brand-new, 72,000 square-foot Women and Children’s campus. We had several volunteers from our member organizations serve lunch, play games with families, organize the hygiene storage room, and assist guests in the computer lab. Thank you to our volunteers as well as the incredible team at the Mission who made these service projects possible!

This award, presented last week at our Advancing Innovation Awards, recognizes an AWIN member for improving health, equity, diversity, and collaboration in the workplace. This impactful program that addresses mental health head-on in the workplace, is supported by dedicated leadership, and demonstrates how simple changes can significantly benefit an organization’s greatest asset: its people.
