Professional Bio

Dr. Arnita “Rena” Hall, Ed.D. is a nationally respected educator, administrator, and thought leader with more than three decades of experience in higher education, nonprofit leadership, early childhood education, and federal service. Her career reflects a deep commitment to innovation, equity, and transformative learning.

She currently serves as Executive Director of Advancing Women in Nashville, leading initiatives that empower women through education, leadership development, and advocacy. She is also the CEO and Founder of Together We Can Consultants and the Curious Elephant Early Education Curriculum, organizations focused on professional learning, early childhood practice, and organizational growth. In addition, she serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Columbia State Community College.

Dr. Hall has developed and led interactive programs grounded in research and experiential learning. Her expertise includes early childhood education, leadership development, resiliency, military family support, brain development, adult learning, professional development, and parent engagement. She has authored multiple articles and two professional books: Peaks and Pitfalls: 7 Best Practices of Professional Development and Guidelines and Strategies for Effective Professional Learning.

She earned a B.A. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, an M.Ed. from Central Michigan University, and an Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she enjoys volunteering, traveling, interior design, and cooking. Her motto, “Together We Can,” reflects her belief in collaboration and collective success.
