Join us for our annual International Women's Day Celebration signature event, held each March, to honor the global movement for women's equality and commemorate the founding of AWIN. The theme of this year, Give to Gain, emphasizes the importance of reciprocity and support while leading. When we help one another thrive, we all rise together.
This dynamic half-day program will feature:
- Breakfast & Welcome
- Keynote address from Janet Miller, Vice Chairman of Colliers Nashville.
- Panel discussion with influential Nashville women leaders
- Exhibitor showcase featuring sponsors, local businesses, and community partners
- Light snack & facilitated connection opportunities across member organizations
- Interactive roundtable breakout sessions on leadership and best practices, focus on navigating complexity and growing your global perspective
This event also marks AWIN's 7th anniversary, celebrating our founding in 2019 by eleven visionary employers committed to advancing women leaders in large organizations.

Janet Miller

Janet Miller has been a key player in Nashville’s real estate and development community for over 30 years. She joined the Nashville office of Colliers International as CEO and Market Leader in September of 2014, following 21 years of service as the Chief Economic Development Officer for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. In July of 2025, she moved to the role of Vice Chairman of Colliers. Colliers Nashville houses Nashville’s largest commercial real estate brokerage team, with 41 brokers, and achieved a 2024 transaction volume of over $1.2 billion. Miller is deeply involved in a wide range of corporate boards and community initiatives, including serving on the board of directors for Studio Bank, Delta Dental of Tennessee, the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee where she leads the Civic Leadership Committee, and the Leadership Nashville Board of Trustees. She also currently co-chairs the Tennessee chapter of Women Corporate Directors, an international organization of women who serve on public company boards or large privately held company boards of directors. Millers past key leadership roles include board positions with the Metropolitan Transit Authority, the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, Nashville’s Agenda, Leadership Nashville, and the Rotary Club of Nashville. In December of 2025, she is being honored by the Nashville Business Journal with their CEO Lifetime Achievement Award.

About the Roundtable
Held concurrently with AWIN’s signature International Women’s Day Celebration, this private session provides a confidential forum for executive dialogue and connection. Participation is limited to two C-level executives per member company, fostering meaningful conversation among leaders from 37 of Nashville’s largest employers.
The discussion will center on leadership competencies including Global Perspectives and Managing Complexity.

The Executive Roundtable is a separate, concurrent session within the larger International Women’s Day Celebration.

Attendance at the Roundtable requires registration specifically for this session.

Executives who wish to attend both the full International Women’s Day program and the Executive Roundtable must register for each and secure a general admission ticket for the full event.
Due to limited capacity and company participation guidelines, member organizations are encouraged to coordinate internally when selecting attendees.
